About Me

I’m Michael J. Chatman, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran transitioning into a career in strategic communications, creative design, and brand development. My background combines five years of military service with experience in operational planning, information management, and cross-cultural engagement across the Indo-Pacific region.

I’ve led projects that required clear communication under pressure, designing campaigns and visual strategies that aligned diverse stakeholders — from multinational partners to local communities. Through this work, I developed a passion for turning complex information into compelling stories that drive understanding and action.

Now, I’m focused on applying these skills in the civilian sector, building a career in creative and brand design. I’m especially interested in roles that bring together storytelling, design, and technology to connect people and ideas.

When I’m not working, I’m exploring design trends, diving into strategy games, and learning new ways to sharpen my creative and technical toolkit.
